As President of B&B Energy Systems, Inc., Thomas Bissmeyer takes great pride in being the fourth generation of Bissmeyers in the energy savings business. He started in the HVAC industry packing and shipping parts from the Bissmeyer family home basement, where the original B&B Air had its office. Through the past thirty years, he has been involved with the sales and marketing as well as the technical support side of the business. His greatest strength in the industry is ability to apply “application intelligence:” his broad knowledge base of both technologies and the customers we serve allows him to assist in putting the right product in the right application. 

In addition to his years of hands on experience with the equipment, a degree in Informatics Marketing from Indiana University has allowed him to improve the sales and marketing efforts of the company. 

Thomas is also active in energy efficiency organizations. He has served on the board of the Central Illinois chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since 2015, including serving as President.
